1. There was no sound coming from any of the video clips. Even with my tech-genius husband troubleshooting multiple computers AND my phone, there was no sound to any of the videos. (We have VERY good internet quality and speed.) 2. There were several typos and incorrect words in the text that made the user have to go back and re-read things, and try to figure out what it was supposed to say, in order to make sure things made sense. 3. Some of the things listed were not listed in complete sentences. The need to be concise is understood, but for a non-medical professional, a thorough explanation is far more valuable. Also, this course uses several medical terms, without explanation, and therefore is not a beginner level course. 4. This course is not a thorough course. For example: In case of a nosebleed because of hot weather, do I have the patient tilt the head back or keep it straight? Do I apply pressure to the nose, or should pressure be applied ONLY when the nosebleed is from a suspected injury? Should I have the patient put their feet up? If so, do the feet need to be lifted to a height above the chest, or is waist level enough? The course gives no instruction as to what to do to help someone with a nosebleed unless it is a result of trauma/injury, etc. There are several examples of this. 5. There are several instructions where it states in the TREATMENT section to "apply first aid" or to "check universal precautions" with no explanation as to what the procedures would be for those terms. They could even be different, in different scenarios. I would still like to know what steps to take, and what I actually need to DO, when these words were stated. 6. There are only 10 questions to the exam. Super easy questions. I received 100%. I could have taken the exam without even going through each of the modules and still passed. There are not enough questions on the exam to truly determine if someone knows what to do in case of an emergency. There is so much missing information that was not covered. I'm guessing, the average person who takes this exam has some sort of medical background and they can seamlessly fill in the blanks where as I, am still blank. (As I'm sure many other beginner level people are who have taken your course, yet received 100%, are too.) I can't imagine how many hundreds of thousands of people have passed this exam, yet are missing crucial information, and are certified to help me, my children, or someone else in need, yet they don't really have the knowledge to be able to do so. That scares me.
