I think there should be assurances that the information was read and understood. Rather than a 10 question test where a person can easily google the answers, there should be measures taken to ensure proficiency. Having a CPR certification should mean that a person can be trusted to perform CPR in an emergent situation.

Bloodborne Pathogens
I still disagree (commented on this question when certifying last year) with the last question on the Bloodborne Pathogens' Exam. The one referring to how many types of Hepatitis there are. For one, the question is not particularly relevant to the BBP course curriculum, nor can it be found anywhere in the content covered. Also, if the question is to be answered correctly then it would state that there are more than 3 types of Hepatitis. Other than that particular question, I generally like this BBP training along with the other courses I've taken on the site and will continue to use the National CPR Foundation's website for future recertifications.
